Welcome

If you’re visiting for the first time, you might be wondering what it means to be a Christian. If you’ve been a Christian for a while, you might wonder what it means to be a Lutheran Christian. The answer to both is simply this: the lost are found, the captives are set free, and the dead are raised to new life – lived in the community of saints, following Jesus all the way home to Eden. All of this is joyfully received here as gift and shared with a broken world.

As the body of Christ in the world, the Church is a community, but more than that. As a family, rich in the relationships that matter most, we grow together, we worship, we serve, we laugh, we cry, we learn, and we reach out to our world with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, crucified; that in Him you are never alone, and never unloved. Confident in His promises, and in joyful anticipation of the Resurrection, we live in the now and not-yet. This is the place where Christ brings His Kingdom to Earth for you to see and taste and touch, and know that He is good. There is no if. This is the place for you, and me, and all of us together, to follow Jesus home again.
